We are here today to put vinyl lettering on a boat and I want to talk to you real briefly about the materials and the tools that you can use in this process.
First, off we have just rubbing alcohol, this is 91% the higher the percentage the better it's going to evaporate and fewer smudges it's just better.
Any rubbing alcohol with work for the purpose of what we are doing here.
Beyond that just a nice clean shop rag, anything that doesn't produce a lot of lint is great.
After we get the area wiped off and mark it out, you need a wax pencil that is going to be the opposite that is the color of your surface.

So what we are going to do today is installing some window decals on these windows, we have 6 of them to do here.
This is a little different we aren't just sticking the decal on part of the window we are pretty much covering the window.

It's an outside application so there could be dust, pollen a lot of things that can make the decal not stick well.
Obviously, you don't want to feel anything sticking off the glass.
